The purpose of this agreement is to provide a mutual understanding of the goals and responsibilities between International Christian Academy Online and the parent/guardian of the students. By typing your name in the space provided at the end of this document, you accept the following provisions of your educational partnership with ICAOnline. ICAOnline will support parents and guardians by:

• Helping parents fulfill their God-given responsibility to be the primary educators of their children
• Accepting students at their current skill level

Providing a placement assessment that, once completed by the student, will be used to tailor an individualized program of study for the student

Prescribing a suitable course of study based on the results of placement assessment.

• Supplying the academic curriculum needed for the courses that is based on a Biblical worldview
• Supporting parents with quality technical, administrative, and academic assistance
• Evaluating, grading/reviewing, recording, and reporting student progress in a timely manner
• Issuing a transcript of all work completed
• Issuing a diploma upon successful completion of International Christian Academy Online graduation requirements

As a parent, guardian, or self-enrolled individual, you agree to partner with us by:

• Acknowledging that our curriculum is based on a Biblical worldview
• Knowing and understanding all applicable home school laws and requirements for your locality and state
• Acknowledging that it is your responsibility to select the course of study needed to meet any applicable home school graduation requirements in your state
• Fulfilling the role of your student's teacher; you will guide and motivate and encourage your student to follow and complete the course of study assigned, while maintaining the freedom to creatively enrich the basic studies with additional projects, field trips, and lab work as you deem appropriate
• Understanding that the work your student submits to ICAOnline must be his/hers solely; tests and quizzes should be completed by the students independent of any other resources
• Understanding that a reasonable amount of time is needed for your student to complete the coursework assigned; a typical academic year is considered to be 180 days, which may be extended up to 12 months to allow for differing student rates of learning
• Understanding that the registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of placement test results
• Accepting and adhering to all Academy policies and procedures
• Acknowledging the necessity of timely payment of all tuition and fees
