Graduation Requirements

College Preparatory

Students in the College Preparatory program enter high school with a clear goal of college admission upon graduation. ICAOnline's standards for this diploma program are designed to afford graduates the best possible opportunities for college attendance by assuring that their high school coursework meets standards of rigor traditionally recognized by 4-year colleges and universities.

General Education

Students in the General Education program of study typically select this option because it allows for greater flexibility in exploring personal interests through elective coursework. Students will select this option when planning to attend junior or community colleges, facing uncertainty regarding their interest in college attendance, or desiring a traditional high school diploma but not intending to pursue further education.

Basic Education

This program is reserved for students who require academic modifications to their high school program of study. Admission to this program is based on academic and anecdotal data presented at the time of enrollment and must be approved by the Administration prior to a student beginning the program.
